Did I hear you say something about a door quilt? What did you do with the leftovers? I agree, that leftover fabric is not a good thing.

I definitely agree that appliqueing the chimneys on is way more efficient. Looks fun as well.

Searching for something to do with the kids until bedtime while listening to an audio recording of The Hobbit. 😂

I just began printing fabrics. I printed a shirt, let it dry for over a week, and it all came out in the wash. Lol! I probably bought ink that’s meant for paper. I’m obviously extremely new at this. Any advice on ink that will stay put when washing?

I made 9 inch finished potholders with a layer of insulbright and cotton batting for Christmas gifts one year. Made in a similar fashion but sew an X across the bottom layer, insulbright, batting and inner piece of fabric before adding the 4 triangles of fabric as you did here. Nice big pot holders that protect your hands from the heat.

This would be a fun project to do with friends and family.
